Democratizing Entrepreneurship

Blair R. Sharp brings 28 years of entrepreneurial experience (since 1998), formal business education, and 18 years of military service (completed May 12, 2026) to Biz50StartUp. Starting his first business ventures at age 13, Blair developed a deep understanding of what it takes to build successful enterprises from the ground up.

His educational journey began at the University of Cincinnati in 2004 studying Business & Finance, returning in late 2009 to pursue Nursing. When nursing program requirements became increasingly competitive (GPA requirements jumped from 3.4-3.8 within a year), Blair transferred to National College, ultimately switching back to Business Management—leveraging his decades of real-world business experience.

While pursuing his Business Management degree at National College in 2015—where he earned Dean's List recognition—Blair simultaneously worked two full-time positions at Target and DHL, operated an eBay business, served as the campus welcome desk/security/administration associate, and worked as an extern for the African American Association for Doctors and Nurses, maintaining their websites and supporting campus meetings.

During this period, he also served as Chief Marketing Officer for MyCincyLife alongside his business partner and military coworker. His career spans multiple industries, including logistics, technology, and professional services, where he has personally served over 460 clients and completed nearly 100,000 service transactions across major platforms including Amazon and Uber.

In 2020, he founded B Roland Sharp LLC, which evolved into the vision for Biz50StartUp. Since January 2023, Blair has successfully operated a multi-service business through the Angi Services platform, providing handyman, cleaning, and professional services to hundreds of clients across Ohio.

Drawing on this extensive academic training and real-world experience, Blair founded Biz50StartUp in August 2025 with a clear mission: to democratize access to professional business formation resources. The platform was developed and launched in under 10 days during his Annual Training with the Ohio Army National Guard, demonstrating the rapid execution and practical approach that defines the company.

As a father of four daughters and a U.S. Army veteran (18 years of service, completed May 12, 2026), Blair understands the challenges facing today's entrepreneurs and has built Biz50StartUp to address the real needs of business owners at every stage of their journey.
